Sold .88 ctw unheated blue sapphire pair

I purchased these in May 2019 from Cecile Raley Design. I have never set them. I think it's time they move to someone that will use them.

They are round, Portuguese cut. She listed them as unheated. They do not have certificate. I paid $500 per carat or $475 for the pair. Medium cornflower blue, no zoning and no windows. No visible inclusions I can see without a loupe. They measure 4.37 x 2.94 and 4.37 x 2.81. Origin is Sri Lanka.

I will take photos. But here are some old vendor photos. Her photos do not do the stones justice. I have a pair of diamonds that I was going to use to make earrings. I am including a photo of the stones in the box with the diamonds, but they are not included in the price.

I would be asking $380 for the pair. Shipping will be $17 with insurance in the US. If there is a shipping overage of more than $5, I will refund the difference. PayPal friends and family preferred due to fees. These will be final sale. International buyers ok, but will need to adjust the shipping price.

More photos. Taken today, exterior light, a bit overcast in Florida, out of direct sun. These are bright stones. They err violet in dim interior lighting to my eye. These could be earrings or side stones, I think.

If I had the budget for it right now, I'd snatch up the whole kit & caboodle. They would make lovely, delicate drop dangle earrings with those diamonds.

I am on the fence on selling those. They are actually a specialty cut, empress cut, so basically pointy pears. I may keep them. If I don't decide to keep them, I'll list both places!
