http://loupetroop.com/listings/rings/9-dot-1ct-ec-aquamarine-slash-diamond-ring-in-18k-wg-with-custom-6mm-euroshank
I just listed my gorgeous EC aquamarine ring on Loupetroup and if I don't get any serious inquires there, I will list it on DB. It is a gorgeous ring, but it has only been worn once and due to family circumstances, I have decided to sell the ring and the matching loose 12.71ct stone (which will be listed on LT shortly).
I met with Martin Fuller (well respected VA appraiser) yesterday to get a verbal appraisal of the ring and loose stone. He supplied me with a "true" value of the ring and stone (not an inflated insurance replacement cost) but suggested that if I wanted to sell the ring and/or stone quickly (which I do) I would probably have to list it at or near wholesale because jewelry buyers are looking for bargains these days, so I decided to take his advice. He shined up the ring and it looks just like new!
Similar appearing rings (which look to have much less saturated stones) are being listed on ebay for $5000 and up and similar loose stones are going for $400ct and up, so I believe this is an excellent price for this ring and stone. They are both gorgeous and need to be loved and worn. Please contact me via Loupetroop for additional information and photos. (serious inquiries only please).
I'm asking $3500 for the ring and $2500 for the stone or will sell both for $5500.
