Beautiful Roger Dery precision cut rubellite tourmaline. This stone was previously set, but the surface doesn't show any wear with a loupe that I could see. There are a couple of tiny micro nicks right next to where the prongs were that most likely were made when the stone was removed, but I can't see them without a loupe and I couldn't get a photo of them, even when I tried.
The pictures of the stone were taken after it was removed from the ring. Please pardon the gem jar fuzz on the first photo. The photo of the stone when it was still in the ring is the closest to the actual color that I see. The black in loose stone photo is reflection from my black camera.
