Dear Pricescope Community,

It is my pleasure to announce that Melissa Sharp aka @Winks_Elf is joining the Whiteflash team.

Many of you know Melissa through your dealings with HPD and Wink, or have heard her talked about by those that have. She has a passion for quality and for uncompromising customer care and has a great understanding of the sensibilities of members of this community.

We are thrilled that she has come on board at Whiteflash!
 
Some time ago when I purchased my first Wink stone, It was Melissa that walked my crazy uneducated consumer self through the process. What a doll. Congratulations!!

I sadly have only talked to Melissa a few times but her love of jewelry and her customers is very evident.

I am very excited to be joining a company with an outstanding reputation in same industry niche I love. Precision cut diamonds and designer jewelry have become my passion. And of course, being able to continue serving the knowledgeable and passionate members of the pricescope community is especially gratifying. I am excited for this next chapter of my career.

Many many years ago, I was getting 300 - 400 emails per day about the Interlap CZ's I was then selling. I could not keep up. Melissa was recommended to me and she readily agreed to work for peanuts, which was all that I could afford to pay her.

Her job was to read my email, answer the ones she could, which were not many at first, and tell me which ones I needed to take care of and delete the garbage. Soon I had to up her pay and it was only a few months before she was doing all of our mountings and custom design work while I went about building my CZ and my Diamond business. Her pay kept going up with her newly gained abilities.

I did not actually meet her in person until about 9.5 years into things when I was able to have her join me for JCK. Many of the Pricescopers met her at the Pricescope get together at the JCK show.

For many years we talked daily to plan what would happen each day, and I really have missed that time with her. I have watched her grow from a young stay at home mom who needed something to do to a very capable diamond and custom design consultant. I think it fair to say that I could never have grown as large as we grew without her capable help.

In my opinion, WhiteFlash and Melissa both have scored home runs! Melissa loves top cut diamonds, well made mountings and most importantly, people. WhiteFlash sells great diamonds and mountings, and is full of special people. I will miss her, even as I cheer for her. Thank you WhiteFlash for recognizing the value of this wonderful person.
