A Few New Goodies

I was finally able to get some photos of my new goodies because no one was home and I didn't have to worry about getting caught. As always, my photos are crap.
Here is my hot pink rubellite ring, which looks more red/purple in the photos. It's a gorgeous hot pink stone from Africa Gems, in hot pink. I wanted rose gold for the stone, but there was a bit of a communication glitch.


Itty bitty grandidierite ring from Desert_Rose. I love it's daintiness. This one and the rubellite are in Aurosi settings.



A lavender sapphire I tried to sell, but ended-up having it set. Sapphire from Finewater, setting by James Allen.



An 8+ ct unheated yellow sapphire from CeylonSapphire on IG. It's a gorgeous color! I know it looks like a big blob of yellow, but it's actually a nice cut. I don't buy many yellow stones, but this one is just ooooh!



And finally, a lab pink diamond ring. Yes, I know there's a "Lab" section, but I need to share with you guys. It's from DBL. David is a doll!

Wow everything is beautiful! I love your hot pink rubellite! I love your pink diamond too! I recently got a pink sapphire pear. I love your dainty blue and wow I love the sapphire in the JA setting! I can't afford a good-sized mined pink diamond. I was chatting with Desert_Rose and she showed me the DBL stone. I bought it, then @Rockdiamond asked if I wanted it set. Well, I have no money left, but he made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

The center is .62, orangey-pink. It's surrounded by a pink lab halo and then a white lab halo. Incredible sparkle and such pretty pink colors, shining everywhere! It's gorgeous!

David was so nice. I thanked him for treating me so well, even though I'm a pauper compared to most of his customers.

I'll try to get a video when my husband isn't looking.

Love all the new rings! Such luscious colors and the rubellite setting is gorgeous! I've been drooling over those new colored diamonds from DBL too, but I really need to set the stones I already have first.

I'm in the process of getting an oval lavender spinel set and basically had the exact same idea for the ring (vintage style floral halo with arrow shoulders) lol. Kind of going in a different direction now, but I can at least ogle yours while waiting for mine

The sapphire is from CeylonSapphireGems. I am going to send it for a cert here because I don't want my kids throwing it away when I'm gone because they think it's junk. I'm expecting a pink from him soon.

I sent five stones to AGL awhile ago. They called today, but I missed it. The gal left a message about there being "an issue with some stones." Now, who the hell leaves that kind of message? I'm so anxious!

I hate DM'ing for prices! His are totally worth it, though. This yellow was an excellent deal! I told him I'd spread the word once AGL verifies unheated. The 3.5ish blue sapphire came back unheated. The yellow will be off to GIA shortly.

He can't take Paypal because he's in Sri Lanka, fyi.

All that anxiety for nothing! She needs to leave better messages. I woke up early just to call AGL first thing. I bought a yellow sapphire from Gary years ago, but want to sell it so I could upgrade. The Gem Brief says it's heated but requires "further testing..." to rule-out Be. I sent it to them to upgrade the report because everyone inquiring about it questioned Be or not. She said they can't do Be testing there and have to send it out to a secret place (she wasn't allowed to tell me) for testing at a cost of $100 plus the upgraded report!!!! Uh...no thanks. I'll send it to GIA where they can test it and it will cost less. Rather ridiculous.

The other issue was just a "pad" (she said it's almost too orange - whatever) with some inclusions that has a very slight chance of cracking when they do the color stability test. So that was a no, too. It showed as very, very low heat, which she said most labs don't test because it's so low. Could've happened in the earth because it's so low, blah, blah. Well then don't freaking test for it! I hate gem labs....

I also sent two other pads from leenagems and they were unheated pads. Yay!

I find rubellites are difficult to take pictures of but they are crazy vibrant in person. I have a pinkish one that reads more purple in a lot of pictures.
Your yellow sapphire is killer. I don’t see a yellow blob. I just see pure joy in that generous dollop of sunshine. I’ve been following that seller on IG. How did you find his prices/ service?

Do you have a thread on the DBL ring? I’ve been looking at their pink lab diamonds and I’d love to see more pics.

His prices are really, really good. My unheated 3.65 blue sapphire was unbeatable by someone who shops for me with the dealers. The price was just too good to pass up. It's eye clean. The yellow price was crazy. He wants repeat customers and he certainly got one in me with the price of that! Plus, shipping is included!

He's responsive and will try to find something you are looking for. Just ask him. It might take him a day or two, but he'll find something!

I chat with him quite a bit. He's very nice. There are IG sellers who people on here have bought from, and the stones came from him originally.

BTW, when I was taking pictures of the rings, I said to myself, "Elle's gonna love these halos!"
