This is my new stone to my collection, I''ve wanted a bright light and airy green color, for a ring and a pendant. This is one from Artcutgems.com and is 8mm calibrated concave cut. I know its not RH''s famous concave cut, and I''ll just be saving up my pennies for one of his much later. But I wanted to wet my taste for one. Anyhow, here are just a few pictures. and the setting I''m thinking of, however, I also will be getting a pakistan peridot from Gary at Fine Water Round portuguese cut, and one of these will go into a double bezel yg/wg pendant slider.

I love it! I''m also becoming a fan of concave cuts...

I saw that peridot on the website and thought it was interesting. I think it will look nice in the setting you''ve picked out - do you have it yet? I''ve been trolling through LOGR settings and am frustrated by how expensive the settings are getting. Several people have that setting though, so at least you know you''re getting one that''s well-made.

Thanks Kribbie,
Cellantani- it should be arriving in hopefully by Tuesday, so I''ll take some pictures of it for you. Yes, I agree the prices just seem to escalate.

I think it will look very pretty in that setting.

That''s my first thought too when I saw the peridot. It looks to be a good fit for the WG setting.

What a beautiful stone!

Love it! It''s always nice to see a great peridot since there are some truly gross ones out there. I know because it''s my birthstone!

TL- thanks

Kunzite - thanks, you know I was never really a peridot (not my birthstone) fan either until just recently nor Citrine (my DDs and DH's birthstone) but I guess its just because I haven't seen a really pretty one yet IRL, until I started to be more particular and being on PS really helped me be more picky.

What a beautiful stone! On my screen it looks like fresh green grass. Please post pics when you''ve decided on a setting. I just love peridot!

i think your setting will show your stone off better than if it had a halo....but admittedly i''m not a fan of halos.
