I just tried on a few Raylia bridal gowns and wanted to give you all a heads up if you're looking into them. I tried strapless on, and there was only one layer of fabric on the top- it was more like a tube top. The dress was only one size too big for me so it wasn't hanging off me, yet the crinoline from the skirt was pulling the dress off me because the lack of support on top. The skirt was very thin, too: it felt like polyester pants-- you can feel your underwear through it, you know?

Just a head's up- they make some beautiful dresses, but the quality didn't seem to me to be up to par with any of the other designers I'd tried on. You'd definitely need to spend some extra money on extra support either worn under or built in by a tailor.

Also-- I'd been wanting to try their "Nora" dress on and had contacted a store about it over the summer. Raylia told the store it would be the end of Sept, then end of Oct, and now told them the dress they were going to send to the store had to be sent to a customer and the store will now not be getting it until January. Seemed weird to me...they don't have enough dresses for their customers?? I'm not sure how it works in the bridal gown industry, but this definitely sent "caution!" waves through me. Could I trust them to get the dress out if I ordered one?

If anyone out there has dealt with Raylia before, please let us know if your dress was high quality-- maybe it was a fluke today?

If you're going to order a Raylia, DEFINITELY try it on first! And their sizing runs a few smaller than other designers (I'm usually a 4, Raylia I'm about an 8)...

Here's a pic of one of the Raylia's- sorry the photos are a little blurry and dark- the salon lady didn't know how to work my camera!
