Hi All,
I have a few diamonds that need setting and slowly getting around to getting homes for them to make them wearable again. I believe this is a transitional cut diamond? It is .83ct J VS2 and i absolutely love it. It needed a home so I had a ring made. Single cut diamonds but I think it adds a vintage look to the ring.
The light was really terrible and doesnt show just how pretty it all turned out. Just waiting until my jeweller gets back from holidays so he can set it in for me. excuse my horrible fat size 9 finger, I was absent the day god was giving out delicate hands hehe.

More pics to follow

I think it''s lovely! Where did you get the setting?

Just a cheapy custom made from jewelryhoo on ebay - I have to say for the price ($220) I am extremely happy with it. My photos arent really doing it justice though. The diamonds arent dead like they look - they are really dainty and sparkly

That ring looks very, very pretty!

Enjoy!

Nice!!! Very pretty!!! Looks great with your diamond! And I can''t believe the price! Awesome deal!!

It looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!

It''s lovely and I LOVE the diamond!

Beautiful! I LOVE the facet pattern on your stone! Gorgeous. My next personal acquisition will be a Transitional with that type of faceting. I just adore that checkerboard pattern and teensy culet. SIGH - they are not easy to find!

Beautiful.

Very pretty!

Fabulous! Transition cut diamonds are my favorite and yours is a real beauty. I love the setting too.

I think you got a deal! I love it.

I just love your ring!! Were you happy with the Ebay seller? I am thinking of seeing if they have something similar. I have many settings and stones that need resetting~between buying some loose stones and my finger size changing due to a chronic medical condition....I can no longer wear most of my beloved rings. I''m also a 9 now, so I feel your frustration!!

The diamond is beautiful!! Is it an older stone? I have a diamond from the 1940''s that is round and approx 1.33cts. I always thought it was round brilliant; but as I learn about transitional and OEC I''m beginning to wonder what it might be. It hasn''t been appraised in over 10 years~so guess that is due before thinking f resetting it.

Congratulations on your beautiful ring!! Wear it proudly and in good health

What a stunning diamond! It''s going to look gorgeous in that setting.
