A Puppy Shower?

I pity those of you with dial up because here are 16 pics of our recent puppy shower for Kizzy and Yaya, the 7-month old Shit-Tzu Chihuaha mix sisters, that we recently adopted .

Their former human did not take good care of them and they both got very sick and one almost died.


My partner Jose made these bone clips; every guest started with one.
Everyone was instructed they may take all the bones away from anyone who says the word "cute" or who crosses their legs.
At the end whoever collects the most bones gets the grand prize.

And here is the grand prize winner.
He's acting happy but wondering why the hell he went through all that trouble for a big stupid candle.

I certainly would have lost the bone-pin game if I''d been there. How could anyone last five minutes without saying "cute"?????

I didn''t! I was blinded by the adorable puppies!!!!!! I love diamonds, but I love cute babies and animals much much more! (yes, I know, blasphemy!)

Another game:
Everyone gets one plastic foodstore bag containing one warm and squishy dog pile.
Although they look real they are not real dog piles, they are melted combinations of Reese Cups, Baby Ruth, and Butterfingers that are melted and formed into that distinctive Tootsie Roll shape.

Guest has to identify which candy bar it is by smelling and or tasting it.
They get two bones if they guess correctly by smell only, one bone if they have to taste it.
It was very gross to watch; I laughed too hard to get pics.
Nobody threw up but a couple people had horrified expressions on their faces.

This is a take off on the classic baby shower game, only they soil a diaper with the chocolate.

OMG they are soooo CUTE!!!! There, I said it! I am not apologizing, so just take my bone clip now!

Seriously though, they are just dolls! Have fun with them and be sure and update us with photos now and then.

The puppy shower is a great idea by the way.
