My 10th wedding anniversary is coming up and we would like a ring to celebrate. I am in the UK and do not wish to purchase internationally at this time. Budget is up to £1000 though can be much less (eg for a simple plain band) or even more for the right piece.

I am totally open to suggestions. I like bands (including plain ones, engraved, etc) 5 stones, solitaires, cluster rings, sapphires and other robust coloured stones, moissanite, but really am open to any ideas. 18K gold of any colour or platinum preferred. The only requirement is it should be sturdy enough to withstand everyday wear. No delicate pave and skinny shanks for me!

My ring size is a small J / 4.5, so it would have to be sizeable to this.

If you are in or visiting the UK and have anything in mind to sell, please let me know and also the price you would want. I don't haggle so whatever price is stated I will take as firm.

Hi @MillieLou
I am in the UK and have a number of items I would be happy to part with - I could do with some spring cleaning and focus in terms of my jewellery!!
I will list them below and you can let me know if any are of interest and I can let you know more details and pricing
Thanks

1st ring is 18k gold with 44 diamonds in the setting, set with an antique cushion cut mossanite.
2nd are two bands one with 17x 2.2-2.6mm rose cut diamonds in 18k yellow gold and the other one with carre cut and round diamonds in platinum
3rd is a 9ct gold and paraiba ring (with certificate)
4th is a 1.6ctw diamond cluster ring. This needs a little work (one stone loose, prongs on the centre stone need retipping). It’s a platinum head on an 18k band.

Oh wow, thank you! They are gorgeous. It would be really helpful to have prices for the moissanite ring and the diamond cluster please? Also, is the carved gold band for sale or not?

I'd be interested to see prices too - I'm in Cheshire :wavey:

Hello @MillieLou
Here is the loupetroop listing for the cluster ring

I am not sure to be honest on how to price the mossanite ring. It cost me £1,750 for the setting plus £150 for the mossanite and £150 to set it because the ring originally had a bezel set stone and I had it changed to double claw prongs. It is a lovely ring!
I guess because the setting is 18k gold with lots of diamonds, maybe around £1200 would be fair? I have worn it maybe 3 times . The thrill is definitely in the chase for me!!
The carved band is 22k gold and from 1920-30’s. Some of the engraving isn’t great (I’ll take a close up for you to see tomorrow as I need to get it out of the safe). I would be looking for £250.
Thanks
Tina

Hello @Alex T
I have some friends close to you in parkgate. I love Chester ❤️
What pricing would you be interested in?

Hello
I thought I would list a few other things I am looking to sell.

Old mine cushion and sapphire flower necklace. The OMC is approx 4x3mm and the sapphires vary in size but total width across the piece is about 10mm.
Beautiful faceting on OMC and no inclusions. Any black seen is a reflection of my camera.

And finally my CVB emerald earring charms. Sadly sitting unworn in my safe. They need a loving home!

Hello @MillieLou
The gold carved band has little irregularities in the carving but it is still beautiful. I have tried to show in this picture.
Thanks

Hi Tina, what size is the rose cut band in #2? I'm not from the UK though.

Hello @maryjane04 it is a 6.5. Or UKM/M.5
The ring is 18k gold and actually has 19 stones (I just checked) with an approx ctw 1ct

Oh thank you so much, they are all incredibly gorgeous - you have wonderful taste! I will have a proper look with DH later. My only concern is that my ring size is 4.5-4.75 so will check with my local jeweller which he thinks are sizeable down to that.

Of course if anyone else wants to get something please grab it, you snooze you lose and all that ;)

Hi @MillieLou
Thank you
The mossanite ring and the antique cluster would be sizeable, but unfortunately the rest wouldn’t I’m afraid!
