A Sephora store will be opening soon in downtown Phila

There are a bunch of Sephoras nearby me. It's great. Each one had different brands, so I visit different locations.

The testers tend to be really icky

(only downside to having a real b&M nearby) I refuse to use any of them!

i noticed jc penny''s online (i think that was it) had sephora. does anyone know if actual jc penny stores have sephora? that would rock! probably the closest we''d get to a real sephora store.

Actually - checking the new store openings on Sephora''s website - it shows LOTS of Sephora kiosks opening in JC Penny stores across the country. I doubt they are the "full" Sephora experience though...

Only some of the JC Penny's have Sephora stores and from what I've heard, they are not full-size locations with all the various brands, but may grant you access to new ones that Nordies, Macy's, etc., don't have, so it's better than nothing.

Nordies is fabulous. Don''t get me wrong, I LOVE Sephora, but the sales associates at Nordstrom are much more professional. They''re less likely to recommend odd colors on me!

One gal at Sephora insisted that I try cotton candy pink eye shadow!

MB, when I was walking down Market the other day I was handed a flyer that said there is a sneak preview for the new Sephora on October 5th... tomorrow!! I wanted to go but we're leaving for a wedding in the afternoon...

But I think the official opening may be this Saturday, the 6th? Not 100% sure....

I went to the new JC Penny by my house with my mom a couple weeks ago and to my surprise, there was a Sephora store inside!!! I couldn''t believe it! It''s not as big as the main store, but it does have quite a bit of the makeup, less perfume & lotions, etc. It''s a little closer to my house than the main Sephora, so I''m not complaining!!!
