A suggestion for quickly finding a poster''''s ring

Have you ever been reading a post and wondering what kind of rock or ring he or she has?
Wouldn''t it be nice if there was a way to quickly find each poster''s SMTR thread about their own ring or diamond?
I''ll bet I''m not the only one with a poor memory.

Right now if you click on anyone''s name below their avatar you are taken to their profile screen.
It has links to all the threads they started or even posted in. (See pic below.)

Would you like another link that takes you to the SMTR thread about their ring (if they have one) ?
Granted, someone would have to write the code.
Another possibility is admin authorizing a kind trusted soul or two to volunteer for the project of establishing the links manually since some members have started more than one thread in SMTR or in Rocky Talk.
Maybe one button for SMTR threads and another for Rocky Talk for the diamond itself?
Such technical details would have to be worked out if this is even possible or worth the hassle; I''m not good at software stuff.

I''ll ask admin, but I started this thread to see if you guys would like this feature.
What say you?

A HUGE second!! This would be a great benefit, especially to us newbie''s!!!!

I find it quite difficult to get back to some of the threads that are my source of inspiration.

Yes, everyone adding a link to their tagline would certainly work.
I'm just afraid few people will get the word or bother doing it.
Some will not know how.
A software solution would have 100% compliance among those who have shared their bling.

Yes, we have something in the works so that your ring stats and photos will be easy to find.

We'd prefer if everyone did not put the links in their signatures. We don't allow links in signatures except for trade members.

I will double check but I do not think so. I believe it will be more like a "player stats" thing, where under your photo will be your ring stats and photo. You''ll be able to update though as your rings change.
