A very lucky girl's dream came true on 12/22/2012

Hello PS community,

I discovered this site sometimes in August last year when my now-fiance started shopping for the perfect ring. I have been lurking around and admiring all the gorgeous rings and settings everybody has on this forum; now I finally have something to share!!!
My amazing fiance proposed to me on 12/22/12. I am SOOOO excited!! We met each other in 2010 when we came to Pennsylvania for graduate school. We moved in with each other during our second year and now we already have 3 children (a Doberman, a Siberian Husky and a Weimeraner)

He did a FANTASTIC job on the ring. It's the perfect ring for me. He knows that I love love love Simon G's micropave and his millegrain details and how I LOVE delicate setting with cushion cut diamond and double prong setting.

It is a Simon G micropave engagement ring with double prong setting. It has millegrain details both on the prongs and on the band. It has a total of 102 G-H color diamonds in the micropave setting. The center stone is a cushion cut GIA-certified diamond. I just LOVE how it sparkles from every angle! I still can't believe how incredibly spoiled and lucky I am

The diamond, the setting, the entire ring really looks perfect on you! And you "sound" so happy with your sweetheart that I seriously cannot stop smiling (I'm a big mush ).

It looks like a 3/4 micropave, is that right? I know a lot of lurkers (and researchers) are always wondering how 3/4's really look so I thought I'd ask.

It is a 3/4 micropave. I love it! <3 It couldn't be more perfect

It doesn't matter how much my ring spins, I can never see the non-micropave part. N if I am ever in a bad neighborhood alone, and decide to spin the ring around, you can't see the micropave part unless you are about 5 inches from my hand.

Thank you ladies~! My fiance and I were ring-setting shopping for several months and we were so impressed with this Simon G's setting that nothing else we saw even came close. There are so much details and of course the fact that it sparkles like crazy from every angle, even with it upside-down.

I still can't believe my fiance got this setting for me, since we are still in graduate school and we really don't have any money to spare. I am so lucky I found a man that would do anything to make me smile
