OMG OMG!!!!!!! It happened!!! Yesterday morning. FI (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) is still in bed so I have a second to spill some details!!!!!!!
Some background info! P and I first meet about 3 years ago when my friend J called me and my then bf and invited us to brunch with some of her friends. We went to the Delectable Egg downtown and the entire time I was there I was thinking, "wow, this guy is so funny/sexy and I''m here with the biggest loser on the planet". About 3 months later, after loser face and I had broken up, I ran into P and we began dating. (OK, I''m not about to lie and tell you I was interested in him for a relationship, I had something a little more casual in mind
come on, I had just gotten out of a TERRIBLE, kind of abusive relationship.) So we fall in love, blah, blah, blah.
So Friday we went out with a big group of friends. Saturday morning I get up, hating life because I was so hung over. I was kind of running around to get ready for fall day. P suggest breakfast at Delectable Egg, saying that his BFF would be there and my BFF and our friend J (same J that introduced us). So we get down there and have a big breakfast. I got up to use the little girls room and when I came back, I grabbed P''s hand. It was REALLY CLAMMY. So I said to him, "are you feeling okay, you are really clammy." Then he got down on one knee and said, "we meet here 3 years ago, and today we are here with our closest friends, will you marry me" and I say, "BUT I''M HUNG OVER". I really thought he was screwing with me, and then I look up at my BFF and she is crying. And everyone is taking pictures with there cell phones.The hole restaurant started clapping. I''m not sure if I even answered! It was prefect and so us. So from there we went home and celebrated with our planned Fall Day. My mom came over that night and I cooked a huge dinner and we drank so much Champagne.
Our camera is broke, but I''ll try to post pictures from my phone.
