ACA 10 Stone

I''m just waiting for my 10 stone (10 ACA 2 pointers F/G) platinum band to arrive and will post pics soon! I blame pricescope for my new obsession.

Luckyhonu''s pinky ring was the inspiration for my new sparkly but mine is a half eternity as I wasn''t sure I''d like the prongs against my fingers:

I have seen ACA referenced many times on this web-site and wonder what it means. I love diamonds, have a very small but nice princess (.41 pts, H/I vs) that my very un-jewleried husband gave me when we had been married 15 years. What a surprise as I didn't think I'd ever be able to sport such a thing. I pine for a 1ct. for my 25 anniversay in August, but I don't think my hubby is biting at the hints this time. But alas, I get a lot of vicarious thrills out of prisecope. Oh, by the way, my husband could very well gift me with an up-grade, but has absolutely no understanding how women love diamonds. How do I get him to "get it" so to speak? When we were picking out my singleplain wedding band, we spent all of 5 minutes in the jewelery store because my then fiance felt weirded out. And, this may be a diamond talk post so I apologize in advance.

Here's the photo from Whiteflash! ACA stands for A Cut Above which is their brand name for a hearts and arrows (H&A) diamond.

It's amazing that they can full cut to that level of precision something which is only 0.02ct! I think at this carat weight, the diamonds are less than 2mm in diameter......

I'll post some of my own photo's once I get a chance to look at it under a magnifying glass!

my wedding ring from WF is 26 .02c ACA melee stones eternity style so I know by looking at it almost what yours will look like on the hand face up!

was it custom or did they stock something like this?

Sparker, my husband is the same way. He freaks out whenever I can manage to drag him into a jewelry store. I had to really work on him to get my new ring for our 15th anniversary. He totally doesn't get it.

I can't wait to see your 10 stone ACA. I'm sure it'll be beautiful and sparkly! I've never seen a 10 stone ACA band so I'm really curious as to what it'll look like. I *think* they custom make all the settings for the .02 ACA.
