good ad!

bush admits to knowing the legal process.....and yet he willingly admits to breaking the law. if we are truely a democracty, then congress will act to impeach. if they don''t, then we are no longer a democracy.

peace, movie zombie

ps i''m not going to hold my breath, though i do look good in blue.....i will however be calling my elected officials to push for impeachment. i can only hope other americans will do the same. however, the idea of president cheney chills me to the bone and i can only hope that the valerie plame blame reaches beyond libby, up to rove and takes out cheney.

Cheney would be better President for all us than Bush because he is so detestable. He has no sex appeal, no boyish charm. No one would believe he would make honest mistakes because he was a stupid, but well-meaning, good ole boy. I doubt he'd look cute flying a plane, either.

In short, Cheney would be wholly unable to get away with what Bush gets away with.

Cheney's ideas and Rumsfeld's and Karl Rove's are already the ones being mouthed by Bush. Without Bush as their mouthpiece, the brains of the Bush organization would look like what they are: cynical, nasty, old, Republican men. Oh...and did I say, greedy? Contracts for the US to pay Halliburton for rebuilding Iraq were ready before the US even invaded it! And Dick Cheney is Halliburton!

My (Republican) husband even tells the joke below.

A doctor approaches his patient who is about to receive a heart transplant. The doctor says, "This is only pro forma, but I am required to ask it. We have two hearts available. One belongs to a young atlete who ran marathons who was killed in a tragic accident. The other belongs to an elderly, Republican banker. Which one do you want?"

The patient says, "I want the heart of the elderly, Republican banker".

The doctor tries again, saying, "I don't think you understand. One heart belonged to someone very young and an athlete. He was in top physical shape. His heart would be very, very strong".

The patient replies, "I understand perfectly; I want the heart that has never been used."

deb, i don''t disagree with you EXCEPT don''t underestimate bush. he is more than a mouth piece. reports are that he will tolerate no one that disagrees with him and wants to hear nothing that does not agree with his point of view. the perception that he is dimmer than a dead light bulb is a misconception when it comes to his being an ideolog: he is unwilling to process information and change his mind. he is dangerous....as are cheney, rove, rumsfield, et al....to the US Constitution, separation of powers, and the concept of a democratic and free America.

good joke, btw. you''re a better person than i am: i wouldn''t even date a republican when i was single.

peace, annette
