Advice need

Hello,

I wanted to buy this stone to make a pendant ( Tiffany Diamond by the yard style). I need your second opinion on stone ? Does it look good ? If not....Would like to see any other suggestion (JamesAllen only) ? Budget for the stone is $3k.

That's a really nice stone. I can't tell what the effect is that I'm seeing on it. It looks like it has a checkerboard pattern on it. I'm sure it is a reflection, but it's really odd. I'd ask if they have more photos or videos to see what that is. I don't believe it's on/in the diamond as the polish is rated excellent.

It shouldn't look yellow in person. In a very magnified image against a white backgroung yes but shouldn't look like that in person

By the way, what do you think about lab grown?

LGD can be a heck of a bargain for someone looking to maximize a budget. My wife and I made the decision to go that route a while ago after seeing LGD and EGD side by side. No regrets!

@medial it's a 0.70 E VS1 that is a beautifully proportioned AGS000. It does have MBF, but I don't think it matters much since it appears so darn crisp and clean.
