Advice on cut quality for accent diamonds

I’m working on an engagement ring and she wants a design that looks like a crown for the hand. The inspiration ring is beautiful but made overseas so I am hesitant on the actual light performance of the smaller diamonds. Below is a picture to illustrate the kinds of accent diamonds, I am not sure if the forum permits using the designer’s ring (if so I will happily add).

What should I be asking for in the small diamonds so that they don’t look like bits of glass?
