Hello everyone! I am upgrading my ER. My new setting is a Tiffany setting style from adiamor called the perfect solitaire. I want to go simple this time and go with a plain knife edge wedding band. My new setting is a soft knife edge of 2.5mm and tapers to 2mm. My question is what size knife edge to get? 2.5mm or 2mm? Anyone have any photos they can share or recommendations? I attached a stock photo of my setting for reference. Thank you!04EE0BAB-CFBD-4683-9C15-A4A5DFA3E346.jpeg

Dont know if this will help or not but you can play with this tool to see how a 2mm or a 2.5mm band will look on your finger size.
Its meant for engagement rings but may be able to help you visualize. I tend to go thinner on wedding bands but would probably
depend on whether you plan on wearing your wedding band without your ering a lot. If so, then I would go bigger.

I would get the band that is identical to your ER mounting.

If you want the rings to appear the same width from the top, go with 2.5mm. That's a nice width anyway. However, if you want to match the backs of the bands to one another and don't mind the band looking a little narrower than the engagement ring, go with 2mm. Knife-edge bands have different styles depending upon who manufactures them, so you might need to order a few in to get a match if you're particular. I ended up with a 2.5mm from Sarraf, and it was definitely a much "softer" knife edge (relatively triangular feel) than something by Ritani (sharp), for example.
