Advice on the integrity of this radiant diamond

Hi All

First time poster, so please go easy if my question is considered stupid 8)

I’m in the market for a radiant engagement ring. My jeweller thinks the below is a very good diamond given the budget:
https://www.gia.edu/report-check?reportno=7423621906

I’m comfortable with ratio, Color etc. (I’m assuming quite a few here wouldn’t be happy). Anyway, my questions relate to the integrity of the stone:
1. The corners seem to have some very long inclusions. Are these needle inclusions?
2. I realise the inclusions may be visible (although I’ve been told it is eye clean), but more importantly will the inclusions affect the diamond’s integrity?

I do have the spinning video but I’m not quite sure how to upload!

Thanks In advance to anyone who takes the time to read this!

You have to load the video to Youtube or Imgur post the link here.

We need a link to the video and can you post a copy of the GIA report?

Bump… any thought?

As a trade member, I can't comment on specific stones being offered- but in general:
I've never seen a Radiant graded VS2 by GIA that had durability issues.

Also in general: The person offering you this diamond.....are they not able to answer such a question to your satisfaction?
IMO..... it's very important that you do business with people you trust- especially for such an imp[ortant purchase.

My 5 cents.
Diamonds to avoid completely are “clarity enhanced”.
Inclusions to be worried about ie position and extent in relation to integrity are feathers and chips.
Inclusions to be worried about re clarity are carbon specks, clouds and pin points. Excessive Clouds and pin points can cause a reduction in light return.
A natural on the girdle might also be problematic.
Needle inclusions are just crystals, usually colourless and generally not a concern in relation to integrity.
However no diamond is “bulletproof”.
Hardness in diamond refers to its ability to resist scratching / abrasion against another surface.
It doesn’t mean it’s immune to a hard whack against another surface.

Ditto on what @Rockdiamond said… that VS2 mapping should not present any reliability issues but echo @Bron357, even an IF stone can and will chip or crack if you whack it right.

All the points Bron makes about imperfections are valid. If one was shopping for a Super Ideal Round ( for example)- these considerations make sense.
My take is a bit different because I'm generally looking at Fancy shapes or fancy colors. As an example- ovals are really popular nowadays. Finding the right shape/light performance is first and foremost. I can’t imagine a VS2 imperfection that could pose a durability risk, as opposed to how it looks. I might reject a stone if the VS2 imperfection is a crystal that is eye visible ( they exist). But if the best looking diamond in real life has a plot that looks like birds pooped on it , I won’t reject it for that reason only.
Of course, another difference is that I'm actually holding the diamond as opposed to looking at pictures/videos and trying to relate to a GIA plot.

And- as it has been pointed out, any diamond will break or chip if hit in the exact right spot with the right amount of pressure- even a flawless.
