Hello, even though this is post #1, I''ve been following your forum for about a month now. I did a search before posting this question as not to ask a repeated question

Can diamonds be added to jewlery AFTER the fact? Is the process more expensive than having a piece (wether it''s a ring, pendant, watch, ect) created from scratch with the diamonds added?

I''m going to venture that the short answer is, in most cases, they can''t be added afterwards, and if they can, it would cost more to do so, and would not be as secure as if the piece made that way in the first place. Solder is weaker than if the piece were cast as one unit in the first place.
