AHHHH! EXCITEMENT!

Ahhh! I have news!!! I was on the phone with FF yesterday and I was trying to trick him into giving me details about the engagement (*slaps her own hand* bad girl! I know!) well I asked, "It's going to be in the next four months right?" Jokingly.... seriously... it was a JOKE! And he says, "Oh yeah. Definitely." I then proceded to squeal, and he said "Crap." and now I'm certain that he let it slip and it was in fact true! That is not all! I was reading some other threads about girls that got their FF to tell them the month/week/general time frame of the proposal so that they wouldn't lose their minds. I told my FF about this (like ten minutes ago) and he said, "A week is too much for me." and I agreed, I don't think I would like to know the week that it will be BUT I told him I wouldn't mind knowing the month. He said he didn't know the month just yet, but he has it narrowed down to two possible months. I asked him to tell me the two months, because that way I know even less (because I wouldn't know which month he actually chose) but at least I would have some idea of when my waiting will be at an end. Sooooo the possible months are: November or September. SEPTEMBER?! I was expecting it to be Dec/Jan so this is very very very shocking and even more exciting and I soooooo hope that it's September and not November though either works but I'm so ready for September and now I'm just rambling so I'm going to shut up ROFL *is giddy*

Man everyone seems to know a round about time frame... wish I knew if it was even gonna be in the next year My BF doesn't let anything slip. I won't even know when he buys a ring. It's my fault for wanting a complete surprise but now it's driving me CRAZY! Oh well, sorry to rant a little. I'm not angry just anxious...

No worries, ranting is totally accepted lol. I was the exact same way, I wanted a total surprise (except for the ring.. he needed a bit of direction on that one) but as time has passed, and especially after I saw the ring I caved. Good luck to you and hopefully it is soon!!

I don't have a timeframe either!!! All I know is that my boyfriend hasn't even started looking around yet. I think the timeline would make me go absolutely crazy and every little situation I'd be thinking, "Is this it??" My boyfriend is very bad at hiding things from me so I have a feeling that I'd catch on to the fact if he was looking at rings. None of my friends had timeframe's either...all surprises, so this idea is totally new to me.

In March we set a 6 month timeline, but that's rapidly narrowing down. Putting early September at the tail end... I've been going nuts for the past 6 months. I sent him pics of what ring I like and the rest is in his hands and I'm left in the dark about any shopping that's happening. I just sit tight and daydream!

Thank you girls! It really is exciting!! PTFM, there are no anniversaries, or bdays that month. Mayhaps labor day weekend? I don't know! I'm a wee bit worried though that if it isn't September, I'm going to lose my mind waiting for November luckily they aren't too far apart.

thats an awesome feeling!

this also happened to me when i was trying to inch my way into knowing "WHEN!" haha.

He stated that it was soon.. so i asked, "what is soon?" he said soon thats all u need to know.

Then a few weeks later it turned into.. "itll be before the end of the summer" summer end is by sept 20th i said... and he said.. "beleive me, its before september 20th"

and thats all i know haha..

I love how excited you are about it all! You remind me so much of me! I've been asking my FF for hints, and he's kept it pretty broad. I tried to get him to tell me the month, and he wouldn't, but he basically said in the next month or two. Whoa! Ahhhh I'm glad I'm not the only one who wants to update the LIWs every time I know any little thing!
