Ain''t love sweet?!

Hi all my LIW! I just had a wonderful talk with my boyfriend, and it made me so happy I thought I''d share.

We''ve been moving forward in our process of getting engaged, basically that means me searching for a diamond and a setting that I like and him agreeing to buy it for me! So I''ve found the diamond that I want to get. But with both of us being out of town for the past week it''s been hard to actually get it paid for and finalized. So tonight we''re both finally home and I printed out the papers and filled out what I could for him, all to make this really easy for him

Then something happened and I got a little sad that he still wasn''t getting as excited about this purchase like I thought he should. Then he stopped me and said the rock is just a rock to him. He''s buying me a diamond because he loves me and because it''s important to me. What he''s really excited about is us! The fact that we''re starting a marriage and a family and a life together is what he is excited and happy about! Awww

Then my heart just melted

Isn''t love the greatest?!

So now I just need to make sure that paper work gets in to finalize the diamond tomorrow!!

Yay, Sunkist! That''s *exactly* what you want him happy about-- what comes after the diamond, girl! My guy''s not all that thrilled about the big purchase himself, but rather his excitment comes from thinking of how it changes our future, forever. Fun, fun!

Eek! I''m happy for you, girl. I hope he doesn''t get the diamond then hold it somewhere in the house, though. That would make me almost vomit with nerves!

Are you purchasing online? Is he nervous about that? I still can''t tell which way Paul''s leaning on that topic...

Anyway, YAY! Good news. Being engaged is *so* on the way for you!

Thank you Fisher! I sure hope he doesn''t hold it in the house forever. I don''t think he will though because I''m basically walking him through this whole thing

He doesn''t want to research it, or rather doesn''t have time (?). So when the diamond comes to us and we decide we like it, then in a little while I''ll move onto getting it set. Once it''s done getting set, it''s in his court totally! He wants to get engaged in June or July.. So we''ll see how it all goes!

Yes, we bought the diamond online. He was actually very skeptical about it. But I''ve researched and i felt very confident. I asked him to trust me, and we did it! Now I just hope I made a good choice
