Is premiergemstones a reliable source for diamonds? There's a cushion I have my eye on for my sister's boyfriend to buy her....please let me know if you have bought from him!

Oh no, I can't go down that rabbit hole... but IF I were to get it, It's be set in white metal with RG shank. It looks almost identical to a 1.43 Fancy Brown rb I have, except way bigger.
 
I fell in love with that one too - really want a pale cappuccino stone and that one is just amazing! Shame I don’t have a spare $24k sifting around.
 
I just bought a 8.05 white zircon from Alex and he was great to work with. The initial stone that I put a deposit on had some corner feathers that I couldn't live with. He cut me 2 stones until we got one that was eye clean enough for me.

He just set some diamonds and they look gorgeous!
 
I received a small (8x5mm) pear diamond from him today. He described it as G VVS. It's stunning! I'm completely camera challenged or I'd share photos.

Can't speak to the vendor as I've never bought anything from him. But yes to that cushion!
 
Here is my teensy beauty. I would definitely purchase from Alex again! The stone is lovely and very sparkly! :kiss2: I didn't want to buy a huge stone not knowing anything about the vendor, but I so happy I took a chance.

Please remember, my camera and I are NOT on good terms.... :lol-2:

@lulu_ma No plans as of yet. It will be a haloed ring someday. I currently have 6 projects going right now, and an additional 3 just that finished this weekend. :oops2:

I really like the colored gemstones he cuts. He has a new apprentice that does good work, but I think I prefer Alex's cuts for now. The diamonds can be a bit hit or miss, but the prices are always wonderful.
 
I was wondering about him but it seems a lot of the respected precision cutters follow Alex’s Instagram. He now has an auction page. I like the old mine cut inspired tanzanite’s he sometimes offers.
