Hi, as per your previous posting, we can’t tell you from photos what your gem is. It could be a range of gems, as there are a number of varieties that will show colour change, or even be synthetic. The best thing to do is send it to a professional laboratory and have a report done. The actual shape doesn’t look “raw” as in “direct from the ground”, it appears to be smooth rather than have natural crystal faces. Perhaps it is alluvial ie water worn?
Best to take it to an expert.
If you a leave it in just ordinary light it mixes green with redIn daylight: same color in all directions?
If yes it could be a cc garnet - which you find in east africa![]()

What about the presidium tester? Where does alexandrite land. i.e how does it read because the tester has no reading for alexandrite and it comes across tourmaline section. I tested tourmaline specific gravity to my presumed alexandrite specific gravity, the tourmaline came as 3.06, and my presumed alexandrite came out 3.7 this is what really confuses meMy Tanzanian CC garnets do that. They are really kind of a bizarre color most of the time. I certainly can't say they are even close to being my most beautiful stones, but certainly are interesting!
Wow, that looks stunning but mine is bluish green in day light and red in incandescent as per the image above
