From left to right:

Octavia 1.34 H VS2, No Fluor, GIA
ACA 0.82 ct E VVS1 Negligible Fluor, AGS
Asscher 2.26 ct F VVS2 Med Blue Fluor, GIA
Solasfera 0.83 ct F VS1 No Fluor, GIA

All are Bruce Boon titanium except for the one at the far right, which is Gelin Abaci platinum.

Two rings are size 10.5 and two are size 8 so I sanded down a old wood dowel to hold the rings and put it in a clamp.

I made this to do a fluorescent test to find out how much of the blue comes from the fluor and how much comes from the blue in the sky but it got mostly cloudy and hazy today.

Now I won't have access to the Octavia till next Saturday because somebody refuses to go to work without it. Grrr.

Those all are amazing. The tension setting for Octavia is my favorite, with Octavia and your asscher being my favorite stones

gorgeous kenny, but you already knew that

feel free to send me one of the ''spares''. I''ll pay insurance and shipping.

You will!

Why, you''re so sweet, even sweeter than that kitty.

All gorgeous, Kenny. It''s a great size comparison, too! The Octavia is so unique and striking--I can see why the wearer doesn''t want to leave it at home.

That Octavia blows my mind every time I see it! If he ever gets tired of it, send it here

Yeah the size comparison is surprising.

It is depressing how much you have to spend to get an asscher that large.
It doesn't even look much larger than rounds that are a fifth the price.

Yes, I am

You know, I find it fascinating that the owner of a (large) asscher also owns a (smaller) solasfera.

Total opposites!! And the sizes emphasize it!

That Solasfera is a blazing ball of light, a very very bright diamond.
I''ll be selling it and the ACA soon, probably on Craigslist.
Do you guys think I should remove them from the settings?

Didn't mean one was unattractive.

Just as different in performance type as you can get!

I'd lean toward sans setting for ebay - some people have this hangup about buying "used" rings, a loose diamond somehow doesn't have quite the same stigma../

Oh, not at all.
I wasn''t even thinking that.

Thanks for the tip about the used ring.
Good idea.
That had not occurred to me.

Isn''t it? I would love an asscher at some point, but I think this will be the bar to my buying one.

I would love to set that Solasfera in a pendant.

I love them all! You have such ingenuity setting up your experiment. And haha that you cannot get access to the Octavia again until Saturday... do you work from home Kenny or are you a kept man?

I ditto Yssie about selling the diamonds loose for sure.

hehe - you''ve created a monster kenny!

I''m a little sad that you''re going to sell your rounds. They''re such lovely stones. Just be VERY careful if you do sell them on CL. I would take them out of the mountings to sell them, definitely. Hopefully they''ll go to diamond lovers just like us and we don''t buy "rings", we buy diamonds

Hey, if I owned that Octavia, you wouldn''t be able to get it away from me either.
