I have called her Aurora.
She is a one off creation from Greek designer Theodoros Savopoulos circa 2014.
Thank you to PSer member ForteKitty for allowing her to come to Australia and live with me.
Stats - centre Opal is Approx 33 carats. The pink sapphires total .80 carats and the diamonds 1 carat approx. set in 18k blackened gold weighing a massive 28 grams.
What can I say, the workmanship is astonishing, the claw supports shaped and detailed to resemble tree branches. The blossoms, set with either pink sapphires and yellow gold accents or diamonds in White Gold. Small diamonds are also pave set underneath and around the whole ring shank.
Amazing.
More than a piece of jewellery, a true work of Art.
It’s unlikely that my photography skills, a iPhone in the kitchen- so high tech (not), can do her justice, here she is

Let me be the first to say "OOOOMMMMGGGG!"
Fabulous! Stunning, Amazing!
And you certainly made us all wait long enough, didn't you???:lol:

I was wondering what in the world this surprise item could be! I do know the piece and it certainly is a work of art!:love::love: I have thought before that it needs a little display case so the owner can just enjoy looking at it! I am happy it went to a home where it will be treasured! Happy birthday, Bron!

Breathtaking artistry! I picture a creation like this to be in a museum showcase. She is spectacular!

Absolutely stunning Bron357!!! That is a very special piece of bling!

Happy birthday

Is it art or is it jewelry? Probably both!:clap:

Art meets jewellery, congrats and Happy Birthday!!!

Had her first outing, daughters soccer match.
Standing on the sideline cheering the daughter on (she scored a goal yay) each teams supporters group stand a respectful distance away from each other.
I got a bit excited, especially when said daughter scored a goal, and afterwards a woman from the other team approached me.
Am I being too noisy ? Have I offended someone?
No.
“What is THAT” the woman asks, “I saw your ring from over there (pointing to a spot some 10 meters away) I hope you don’t mind me coming over”.
OMG, that is amazing. Can I take a photo ?
Sure.
She heads back to join her “group”.
One of the volunteer grounds people then came over to me
“Everything ok?”
Just some context here, because some parents/ supporters have in the past got over emotional (aka abusive and with threats of physical violence) at the soccer matches, the rules are now very strict. Supporters for each team stand separately and no one is allowed to say anything nasty or inappropriate to anyone or their child will be banned from participating.
“No problem, the lady was just admiring my ring”
OMG, that is amazing !
One of the other parents (our group) laughed and said “you’ve upgraded from the woman with the dogs to the Lady with THE ring!”

that is spectacular

This is just amazing!! I could spend hours zooming in & looking at the details!

Happy Birthday to you indeed!

Wowza! That is truly the most unique ring I've ever seen. The design and workmanship is incredible. Not only will you enjoy wearing it, but what a fun icebreaker it is turning out to be. I know if I saw someone wearing it, I'd definitely ask for a closer look! Amazing.

Enjoy and happy birthday!

So pretty @Bron357 ! I want a real-life distance view. I would be staring at that all day!

Holy Moly that is a true work of art! Happy Happy birthday to you @Bron357 !!!

Beautiful!
Some sort of display case for sure, so it can be viewed when not being worn.
Is the opal a ( for lack of better term) doublet?
But only for the sake of needing a double sided cabochon to work with the design, not in the sense of making a stone look a higher grade.
Just curious, as it doesn’t diminish the beauty at all.

Wow! That is just a masterpiece of beautiful stones and metal work. So impressive in presentation, a display box is definitely warranted for when not wearing! But you should wear it as often as possible!
Happy birthday. What a way to commemorate a birthday!

THUD! What an incredible, gorgeous, one-of-a-kind ring, @Bron357! I can see why you treasure it so, and I am thrilled that she made her way to you! Can't wait to hear more stories of the people who will approach you just to catch a closer look! Enjoy every moment with this beauty, and wishing you the happiest of birthdays as well!

We want a full arm shot for perspective!
And photos in different light sources, and photos of it in the jewelry box, and photos of it in the car, and photos of it on the dog's paw.....and........and........

Amazing! Incredible! And Happy Birthday my friend!!

YES. This thread makes me happy :mrgreen2:

I am SO happy this beauty went to a home where she’ll be adored and admired and worn out to soccer matches!! :kiss2: :cool2:

The workmanship is... out of this world. “From one of those books”, like you said in the other thread... just one of those once-in-a-lifetime finds.

A very happy birthday B!! And we really do need more perspective photos :geek2::kiss2:
