Sold Amethysts, tourmalines and a big, gorgeous pedidot

These baby amethysts are delicious! Great for an anniversary band, wonderful for sides, or to do a truly unique halo. If you want to do any sort of a floral ring - these would be just perfect. I love their pure color, the absence of grey, how well they're cut and how much they twinkle! They'd make a killer cluster pendant or earrings. Throw in a few diamonds and these would be the BOMB, baby!

Seriously tho, I've kept these longer than any other unset gem I've owned, because I've always wanted to do something with them, as they're just too perfect to give away. But time has gotten the best of me, so now they're on the chopping block. They're 4mm each and I'm only selling them as a set for $110. There's 11 of them (I missed including one in the photo, but it looks exactly the same as its fellows) and if you like light purple - you'll love them.

Next up - a beautiful, pure, cushion cut Burmese peridot from Gary Braun (Finewater Gems). It's 3.74ct and I'm not entirely sure, but might have been flawless. I can't recall exactly, but I can't see any hint of anything in it, and it's like a bright green mirror to look at! no yellow, no olive, no brown - this stone is GORGEOUS.

I bought it for $375, selling for $225. Size is 10mm x 8.4mm.

When I bought the above peridot, it was with the intention of sending it off to DKJ to set in platinum or white gold with *these* Yvonne Railey fuchsia tourmalines. They're 4mm each, I paid $67 and am selling them for $40 for the pair. If you buy the peridot, I'll include these for an extra $30; the combo is killer and absolutely does not show up in this photo. They're very well cut and the color is excellent, as per all of Yvonne's stock.

It's a stunner. You don't often see the Burmese ones - more often Pakistan or Arizona. This is a different green - far cleaner. Suffice to say, it was good enough for me to choose it for myself and I had every intension of setting it.

But life brings change....
