An early mother’s day gift for my mom

I came up with the idea to create this piece for my mom when I saw Chopard released their Precious Lace collection. This ring/pendant caught my eye and I know this is the style my mom likes.
The original piece is made of 1ct of diamond and I know my mom would prefer a much much bigger flower. She also preferres yellow gold than white gold.
I apologize in advance if I offend anybody who likes the original Chopard piece and I created something similar.

Long story short, I am not able to get back home to visit my family for almost 2 years because of the travel restriction of Covid-19. To make myself feel better, I turned my homesickness into buying gems and customizing jewelry pieces.

I originally wanted pear shaped emerald and diamond but I found out emeralds with pear shaped + good color and clarity+size over 6mm are too difficult to find.
I ended up with tsavorites pieces from a local dealer. The seller is fabulous because she is willing to customize the cutting for me. Their tsavorite are in in oval 6*4mm but they can re-cut them into pears!
The center piece I need a 3.5*3.5 round and the seller told me it is not easy to cut round out of the oval so decided to use a different stone.

I got some round sparkling sphenes and mali garnets from a ebay dealer more than one year ago and I figured out they can be good center stones for this tsavorite flower. The rest of them I am planning to make them into a band.

Here is the final result. Mom is very happy with it.
The color is much more vivid in real life. It is difficult to capture the green color by phone.

Together with mom's emerald sugarloaf + ruby cabochon ring.

Thanks! She like this piece a lot and I am sure she is going to wear it everyday. This pendant is big enough to wear with a thicker chain with winter sweaters and it also goes well with summer shirts.

After my mom’s pendant is done, I ordered 3 more tsavorites from the same dealer. I always want to get a green tsavorite ring but did find any styles I like.
I bought them in oval and asked the dealer cut them into this interesting egg shaped oval.
I got my inspiration from this antique ring from Sotheby’s site. The three diamonds are in this interesting shape.

My clover ring is done. Together with my other 3 pink and red pieces. It turned out exactly like what I expected.
