Things with me and FI are fantastic, that isn’t the issue. Well, really it is a compilation of several things the main two being family illness and the second is my Masters Degree. I am about 12 months from completion and there is a comprehensive exam at the end and planning a wedding with working full time and going to school full time is really stressful and that is why I really haven’t done anything wedding wise.

My fathers’ parents are both terminally ill with cancer and now my mum’s sister just had radical surgery for bowel cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. My dads very close friend has Lugarics(sp) disease and is fading fast. Truthfully, with all of this going on around me, I don’t have the heart to think about planning such a “happy time”.

Lastly the FI has started his own business and the next 12 months will be crucial and FULL of traveling.

So, the wedding will come, just not as soon as we initially thought.
