So I totally need to share this story, as it shows the although guys complain about how girls can be finickie, boys are soo much worse...

So my FF and I have been deciding on a ring, and trying to choose a diamond, as he wants me to be involved in the selection process (since I get to wear it). Of course, I have been doing my "homework" diligently by checking out the best prices, stones, etc, and then giving him the info as I find it. Well, this has been going on for a couple weeks, and as much as I try to keep it to a minimum, I am still soooo excited about the whole thing, and what to tell him what I find everyday.

Well this past weekend, the FF started telling me that I should back down a bit, and let him handle it, that he wanted to take care of it, and that my "work was done". Well, since then, I hadn''t said anything at all to him about rings or anything, being as good a GF as I can be...

Then, last night, as the FF and I were laying in bed just watching some tv and chating and he randomly asks me if I had been looking at any diamonds, etc. that day. I proudly replied that I had resisted the temptation. He says, why not? And I of couse I tell him, since he asked me not to, I am respecting his wishes.Then he throws me for a complete loop...

He says, well you shouldn''t stop. You should keep looking at stuff. You are always so happy and excited to tell me about your findings and you have a "glow" in you eye, and I want you to be like that again...AAAHHHH

...How finickie can boys be! One minute he wants me to stop looking then another he wants me to look. I think I am going to go bonkers!

Well, that was my rant/humerous story about my FF. Do any of you girls have finickie FF like that? Please do share!

Mine likes to act like marriage is way down the line, not happening anytime soon, but he is always advocating for me to get him an e-ring! He is constantly telling me to propose. I think it''s funny, though I don''t plan to propose, but it just strikes me as backwards. If you want to get married, then let''s get engaged. If you think I should ask, then doesn''t that mean that you think you are ready? In which case, what exactly is the hold up? I know he got the stone, pretty sure he has the ring...

so true! i told my boyf that he is no longer allowed to look at other peoples rings with me next to him. it just makes the waiting worse!

oh, and for him to stop telling me that he told his friends the when where and why''s.

Yeah, so lately he''s been bringing it up constantly. Every. single. day.

As much as it sort of bugs me since I know it won''t be for AT LEAST 4 weeks (after my cousin''s wedding, he has said he won''t do it before then) I sort of like it because I know it''s on his mind alot.

And it will be before November, he has said, so it''s not too far out now.

I have no idea if he''s bought the ring, but he keeps hinting as if he has, or is very close to doing so. But he never divulges too much, I think he just likes to see me get all happy and giggly when he mentions it.

my bf does this too. he says things like, "it''s going to be a while, don''t get too excited about anything you find because it''s still a while off..." and then i''ll stop looking, thinking it''s a waste of time at this point, and he''ll say something like "let me show you a setting i like." or "have you found any diamonds?"

it''s very confusing. i''ve decided to let him come to me.

So I know my FF isn''t going to propose for a while still, due to funds, but he tempts me in the cutest ways. I have fallen in love with a Tacori setting, and I have the booklet at home with a picture in it. Sometimes he will pick up the book and flip through the pages saying "Tacori, right?" than point to the ring and say "it''s this one right?". He knows it is, but I think he likes to see my eyes light up in delight when I confirm he is indeed correct! However, it is dissapointing in its own way too because I know it won''t be for a while. Oh well he is the cutest guy in the world, and I am in love with the fact that he can''t wait to propose!
