Well, you may remember my post and dilemma a few weeks back https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/battle-of-the-casablancas.74526/. I had fallen in love with 2 dresses (Casablanca 1831 and 1881). Well the winner is........................................................

Casablanca 1881!

I had gotten many opinions from PSers, friends, coworkers, and family and had received mixed reactions on the champagne and ivory combo, but was hesitant to order all ivory without seeing it. So, I called around to local bridal salons to see if they carried the 1881 in the all ivory, no luck... but I got a call a week later from a salon about an hour away that had a bride who order the dress in all ivory. So, I could take a look at it but not try. It was GORGEOUS!

So, I went back today to the local store, tried the dress on again, got measured... and order it! Woohoo. Although, I am sad that the dress trying experience is over as well as the fact that I won''t see MY dress for 6-8 months!.

I just went back to your old thread again and you made the right choice. that dress just looks perfect on you! It will be a long 6-8 months, but at least you know you chose the perfect one! (and you can peak at your pics once in awhile, lol!)

Thank you all so much for the kind words! It is a shame we can only wear our wedding dresses for one day. Haha we will have to have a get together where we all wear our wedding dresses again and have cocktails! Haha what fun!
