It never rains but it pours... the Andrew Sarosi ring that I commissioned while at Intergem in November arrived today too. It looks fabulous. The stone is a 2.16ct rubelite cut by Ben Kho. It does have one fairly big inclusion in it that you can see with the naked eye but I don''t find it distracting. I kind of wish I had it made a little bigger so that I could wear it on my middle finger but oh well.

First up, a side view of the flowers (tulips I think) and leaves.

And, last but not least, Zoe wanted to show off her new Red Sox bed.

Wow- what a lovely, intricate looking setting! And the stone is a beautiful color!

HI

Gorgeous! Very feminine....

cheers--Sharon

Thanks all! It''s really quite lovely in person.

kas baby: The design isn''t mine at all; this is one of their own settings. I saw this ring at Intergem and wanted to set one of my own stones in it. They modified the setting so that it would work with a square stone by getting rid of all but 4 of the prongs.

fly girl: another reason I wished I had it made for the middle finger; then I could wear both! I''ll just have to flip a coin tomorrow.

Oh, those colors! What a rich-looking ring! That AND your new chrysoberyl--you are one lucky lady this week.

I love the tulips on that ring, what a nice design.

I love the look of delicate and artistic jewelery.

Oh my word! I am speechless. What a gorgeous setting and rubellite. That is an awesome stone and setting. Just gorgeous!

Beautiful ring, beautiful stone. I love the intricacy and the way the ring alternates between shimmer and sparkle.

Lordy that is gorgeous! Lucky girl, 2 new rings! I love the tulips on this one!

Kismet you sure have an eye for wonderful craftsmanship, as well as interesting details! It''s absolutely stunning!

Stunning ring!! I love the color on that rubleite!!

Wow!!!
I love the color! It is perfect for Christmas and Valentine''s. The intricate design is pleasing, not busy.
Oh, and two rings at once? You must have been a very good girl.
My birthday is Christmas Eve, and I could not pull off two rings, even with that for an excuse.

Thanks all. The rubelite color came across really well. I think the ring looks really good with the square stone too although I wasn''t totally certain it would when I ordered it. Mr. Sarosi gave me a shrug and a dismissive wave of the hand when he came over to see which of my stones I had settled on using.

WOW! Gorgeous ring, Kismet - the color of that rubellite is amazing, and so is the detail and craftsmanship of the ring. I''m going to Intergem today, so I''ll be sure to look that vendor up! You''ve done a great job photographing the profile and shank - do you have any shots that are more head-on?

Wow, you are having a GREAT week, Kismet! Love this gorgeous organic design and that Rubellite is beautiful!

Wow kismet, that is some kinda of ring!

Very very nice. The color of the stone goes very well with the Yellow gold. Did you get higher kt gold, it looks so yellow!?

Congrats and TFS!!
