Anniversary Present Advice

Hey Everyone,

So the BF and I's anniversary is this weekend. I was just wondering what do you all get your men for an anniversary present. I want to get him something nice yet affordable. Does anyone have any ideas. He's usually pretty romantic, yet plays football so I can do anything from mushy to practical. Thoughts?

My BF is not the mushy romantic type, so he appreciates practical gifts! hehe...

He''s also not big on anniversary presents, so I might not be much help!

Last year I got him a nice Polo (he kept saying how he needed one!) and a nice belt....this year we decided not to get anything big so I just got him a few CDs.

For other occasions (birthdays, etc) I have gotten him Football tickets to go see his team (he loved that one!), a digital camera and a mountain bike!.

His birthday is coming up now and I want to get him plane tickets to go somewhere for the weekend. I think that is both romantic and practical (specially if your BF likes to travel too). It will be either that or football tickets again (his team will be playing here on his b-day weekend).

i''ve gotten my bf a billion gifts over the years, and he says his all-time favorite was the beer of the month club.

let''s see - what else? i got him a nice watch not too long ago, which he both needed and really liked. i also once got hima nice piece of artwork - but for that to work, you have to know of something he would like. art is so personal. i also once got him a gift certificate to get his beloved car detailed... other times i''ve forgone with the gifts and taken him to some stupidly decadent dinner - like the best steak in town, something like that.

Thanks for your responses, I went with the watch idea and got him a Movado, hopefully he will like it. But I''m also soo in love w/ the plane ticket idea. Maybe for Christmas or his bday!

well, it was a while back, so i can''t remember which company i used. but there are a bunch of them. if you google "beer of the month club" you''ll get a bunch of results. for wine lovers, i know of people who have done wine of the month, too.

Hey I would say that you need to be careful with the **** of the months clubs because some states do not allow you to ship alcohol to certain states.
