Thank you for this! Those jewels are truly amazing! My favourites are the emerald salamander (top right in in your pic) and the emerald watch case (centre in your pic), carved from a huge Colombian emerald. It's almost unbelievable.

I really enjoyed this documentary!
What stunning jewels. How can anyone pick a favorite? But I agree, the emeralds are simply thrilling.

Ok, now I have to go find my oldest pieces and pretend they are from the Cheapside Hoard
