I don't know. Looks like a scammer to me too. They just created their account this month (today for all we know... :( )

I was hoping these scammers had gone away.

I haven’t bought anything from Diamonds by Lauren but follow them on IG. I’ll drop them a DM and ask to see if they know about this and if it’s legit. Will report back.

If it’s a scam
The scammer has done their homework.
Scouring this site for info to use on their behalf (and knowing what individuals to use the identify of) to sound somewhat connected and authentic. Really.

Or it’s someone that’s been here all along.

On the website the contact information is: [email protected]

The LT contact is: jennifer at diamondsbylauren@gmail.com

I would be very, very cautious. Scammers often find websites/addresses that *look* like genuine addresses. It only takes on misplaced dot to be a completely different address.

It's what makes it so concerning. Just sounds plausible, to the point where you're not even sure whether it's legit or not. But then come the questions. If they're running a sale, why not run it on the website? A discount of a third of the price is pretty substantial and unlikely all on its own. Why have that discount limited to LT - a venue dedicated to private sales of pre-owned jewellery which DBL doesn't really need to explore in the first place.

Furthermore, I checked @Jennifer W's profile here on PS. Hasn't been logged into for the past four years.

Meanwhile a second listing was added.

HI Everyone!
No scam whatsoever!!
Jen has been associated with us, on and off, for many years.

It is a substantial discount for sure.
As we explained in the listings- the business is changing. We've built up an amazing collection over the years.
Based on changes in the market, it makes sense for us to give more people the opportunity to own a DBL piece.
I'm not a believer in "sales" as a seller.
We have always given special prices to our regular clients.
In some cases, we are adjusting the price on the site to match LT listings but not all.
In terms of having our jewelry on LT- many sellers are there already.
In today's internet, a business needs to explore every avenue for exposure.

Thank you so much for clarifying! It’s a nice surprise, for once the concerns turn out to be unfounded and everything is legit. Definitely a positive development.

yay, so glad it's not a scam! I was worried if a scammer was that dedicated to looking at the website and finding legit info. Phew!

Wow , I am SO glad this is legit. I was so concerned about the possibility of yet another scammer.
Also, I must add that these two items posted are absolutely gorgeous. Not quite on my budget just yet but I will definitely be keeping an eye on Jen’s posts :)

So relieved it is legit. I'm so sick of scammers everywhere. On your, phone, email, internet posts, etc. Good to know folks are looking out and things can be clarified.
