Oh my lord!!!!

Whether that''s real or not, it''s disgusting.

Well, that was certainly disgusting. Hopefully "Bubba" will draw up a contract for him when he goes to jail entitled "inmate expectations."

I dated this guy for a few months who seemed attentive, complimenting, romantic and very affectionate. Dare I say, I thought he was wonderful in the beginning. Then one evening we had planned to go out on a date he came over early - unexpectedly. I told him he could make a drink, hang out, whatever while I took a quick shower. When I got out he had gone through my closet and picked out what dress he wanted me to wear that night - right down to the underwear, shoes and earrings.
I don''t know why, but we went out two more times after that where other creepy red flags were waved and that was it. I knew this was just the tip of the iceburg on his controlling nature. When I broke it off with him (at his house) he pushed me against the wall and said, I will not let you go.

I wonder if he sprung this on her before or after they were married.

omg that is sick....

Holy crap Starset,
23.gif
I''m glad you got out of that relationship.

This ''contract'' made me sick to my stomach.
14.gif

At least any woman who married this guy could complain that she didn''t know what she was getting. What a creep.

Wow...I can see why she did not sign. Though if I were presented with something like that I would call the nearest realtive with a truck and move out that night.

good for you SDL and Star.
I always like to hear when a woman stands up to this nonsense-

WAS he on CRACK!

Goodness this makes me feel sick...

Good on you, SDL and starset! My first boyfriend was a control freak too and threw a right tantrum when I told him I was considering skipping CÉGEP (two "freshman years" in Québec) and going directly to Ottawa U, about two hours from home! I left him not long after... I was 16 and no guy was going to control my life!! And that's why I knew my SO was a keeper when he had no problem whatsoever with me leaving 300 miles away for college and even said that if I had to come back he didn't want me to come back because of him but only if it was best for me...

That kind of contract is not uncommon for Dominant/Submissive couples.. however deranged it might be, some people like that kind of control/lack of control.

The only issue for me here is whether an arrangement such as this is between consenting adults. As SanDiegoLady says, this is not uncommon for couples who enjoy a certain variation on Dominant/Submissive relationships. Of course those who choose such a relationship are a small part of the BDSM community and the BDSM community is a small part of the entire community.

If it is between consenting adults, I say, "chacun a son gout". I am not totally consistent, however. I do think the two men in Germany (was it Germany?) who lunched on parts of one of the men should have been restrained! Maybe I draw the line at severe bodily harm!!!

I am posting some excerpts from an article published about this incident in "The New York Times" as well as a link to the archived article.

This article fails to mention that before Armin Miewes killed his partner that they sat at the table together and shared one of the parts of the partner's body.

"KASSEL, Germany, Dec. 22 - His lawyer describes him, rather implausibly, as a 'gentleman from the old school.'

But when Armin Meiwes stepped into a courtroom in this central German city the other day, legal binders tucked under his arm, there was no denying his nattiness. With a well-cut suit and patterned tie, set off by a polished gold clasp, Mr. Meiwes looked like a member of his legal defense team rather than a man accused of killing and eating one of his houseguests.

The trial of Mr. Meiwes, 42, who confessed to a cannibalism ritual with a willing victim who answered his Internet posting, has repulsed and riveted Germans since it began this month.

...

Mr. Meiwes lived in a rambling half-timbered house, casting an electronic net for young men willing to be 'slaughtered.'

Beyond the grisly details -- and they are grisly enough for the most hardened of true-crime devotees -- the case raises knotty legal questions that some experts believe will be settled only by Germany's highest court.

At issue is whether Mr. Meiwes can be found guilty of murder even though his victim, 43-year-old Bernd-Jürgen Brandes, consented and even pleaded to be stabbed to death and consumed.

Prosecutors concede that the victim was willing, but say he was mentally unbalanced. They say Mr. Meiwes, a computer technician, murdered his victim and ate him as a form of sexual gratification. Cannibalism itself is not a crime in Germany.

'It's really complicated, because you have two people coming together with very similar, perverse fantasies,'said Arthur Kreuzer, the director of the Institute for the Study of Criminology at Giessen University.

'One said, "I want to kill you and eat you," ' Mr. Kreuzer said. 'The other said, "I want to be killed and eaten by you." '
...
Mr. Meiwes offered a glimpse into his netherworld in testimony on the first day of the trial. He said he had posted advertisements on the Internet, under the pseudonym Franky, which said, 'If you are 18-25, you are my boy.' He claimed to have gotten about 200 replies.

Four other men traveled to Rotenburg to meet with Mr. Meiwes and, according to his lawyer, Mr. Ermel, engaged in sexual role playing. When it became apparent that they did not want the high jinks to cross the line into physical violence, Mr. Ermel said, their host allowed them to leave.

...

'With every piece of flesh I ate, I remembered him,' Mr. Meiwes said, according to Reuters. 'It was like taking Communion.'

No wonder this trial has been riveting theater for courtroom regulars like Manfred Schübel. He said most of the cases he watched involved burglaries or drug busts. For Mr. Schübel, the hard part is squaring the horror of Mr. Meiwes's story with his unthreatening appearance.

'He's sympathetic,' Mr. Schübel said, adding with a nervous giggle, 'He looks like the nicest cannibal you could ever meet.'

Eating People Is Wrong! But Is It Homicide?

For myself I don’t really care what two (or fifty if that is your thing
2.gif
) consenting adults do in their own home. Just don’t ask me to join in and we are fine.
I did however come across this joke while looking for the book that SDL mentioned.

A mild manner husband was tired of being bossed by his wife so he went to see a psychiatrist. The doctor said he needed to build his self-esteem, so he gave him a book on assertiveness which the man read on the way home on the bus. He finished the book by the time he reached the house.

The husband stormed into the house and walked right up to his wife. Pointing a finger in her face he said,
"From now on, I want you to know that I am the man of the house and my word is law! I want you to prepare me a gourmet meal tonight. When I am finished eating my meal, I expect a scrumptious dessert. Then, after dinner, you''re going to draw me my bath so I can relax. When I am finished with my bath, guess who''s going to dress me and comb my hair?"

The wife looked him square in the eye and replied, "The funeral director."

All right, I stand corrected, I am not okay with eating people and I would be disturbed to know that my neighbor wanted or had eaten another humans flesh regardless of weather or not a death had been involved. Yick.

Nor am I. But if consenting adults want to play slave and master 24/7 and no serious bodily injury results, that's OK with me.

I thought that the gal actually did sign the contract and was seeking divorce? I didn''t read the contract, though one of my friends told me some of the key loveliness points...naked and in bed 20 minutes after the kids are asleep? HAH...have fun with that!

According to the smoking gun, she didn''t sign it. But who really knows.

She also gets GBD (Good Behavior Days) if she obeys him without any grief.

wow, that is unbeleivable!!! I guess some people are into that kind of stuff, but I personally was starting to feel queasy just reading it. ug
