I’m in search of an antique 5 stone ring. Around .5-1 tcw. 18k yellow gold. Preferably old mine cut and warmer stones. Budget is under $1000, although I’d prefer to be around $500. I’ve been searching for months. If anyone comes across one please share! Also I’m hoping to wear it with my ACC solitaire. I’d love to see pics from anyone who has antique 5 stones paired with a solitaire!
 
Dolwenbelle on Etsy often has five-stone rings. It’s worth keeping an eye on her shop for updates since it can take time for your dream ring to appear.

Yours is absolutely gorgeous. Not quite the shape I’m looking for though.
 
I had my eye on two that were listed by the same seller on eBay yesterday. I went to purchase one and both listings had ended. I saw the first one posted as coming soon by an IG seller this morning. She hasn’t posted the second one yet but I’m betting she got both to resell. Ugh. They were so perfect.

Hate when this happens, now if I see something on IG I'm considering I check to see if it was bought off EBay, if it was I typically can't bring myself to buy it.

Do you mind me asking which IG seller? I understand if you don't want to share but if I know someone buys and resells from EBay I am even more likely to check before buying from them.

I would totally pm you if I could but I would feel terrible to publicly share. Ive almost purchased from her in the past but have noticed several pieces she's purchased off eBay. She a UK seller, has 11.9k IG followers and an etsy shop with tons of sales to. I know it happens a lot and its just the business of buying and selling but I would be really upset if I had purchased it for 3X the price.

No worries, I totally get it and I don't purchase from the U.K. after a bad EBay experience so she wouldn't be on my IG anyways.

That is still a bummer but your ring is out there. Definitely browse through Etsy if you haven't already.
 
I just found one on eBay that makes my heart sing! Problem is it’s totally different than what I was looking for. It has whiter stones (I want warm) and it has a buttercup type setting in more of a boat shape. For some reason; I’m totally in love. I’m concerned that I can’t really stack it. I’d love to see pictures of any antique 5 stones you guys have stacked or paired with a solitaire.
 
So one that I had been eyeballing was relisted so I jumped on it! It’s a bit of a gamble and definitely not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s exactly what I was looking for color wise so I’m hoping for the best. If I don’t like it I’ll just sell it. I chose this because I love the wonky stones and mix matched color. Center stone is pretty yellow, two white beside it, and two warm on the ends. Unfortunately I had to cancel it. The seller took it to be sized and it was unable to be sized as far down as I needed. I’m super bummed. Someone else snatched it up as soon as it was relisted. Back to the search for me.
 
How disappointing but I am sure you will find the perfect ring for you!
