I think I finally found my wedding band and received it the other day.
Last month I was presented with a gorgeous 1.54 Old Mine e-ring and was having a tough time finding a wedding band that I thought really complimented the uniqueness and charm of the old stone. Then I found a great 1.50 ct french cut eternity band that was created in '20's. I had never actually seen a french cut and love how sparkly they are and the hand engraving on the side is a added bonus!
I had my appraiser & jeweler check it out and they were both thrilled with the band. They could tell that at one point in time it had been sized and there was a little wear on some of the milgrain but for the most part it was in great shape and they had no concern with it.
Overall I love that the width is similar to my e-ring, originally I wanted something that has a bit more substance to the stones but everything thats available around here, that I have been able to try, hasn't looked right.
