I bought this setting less then a month ago on ebay for my new OMC stone. I ended up using a different setting, and as much as I would want to keep it I, I decided that it can make some other antique setting lover happy.
It's an art deco setting. It is HANDMADE (confirmed by my jewerler). It's platinum and has 6 double claw prongs that will hold a round stone of aprox. 8 - 8.5 mm in diameter. The shoulders of the ring are set with 4 single cut diamonds that weigh approx. .10 ctw. The size of the ring is an 8.25 and it can be resized. The total weight is 3.7 grams. Per seller: your setter may have to rework the prongs in order to securely set your stone.
