Any earrings projects going on?

Hi everyone

I'm in a rut in life. So, what does a good pricescoper do when in a rut in life? Start a protect!

I started an earring project a few weeks (months? I don't know) back and I'm sure it's nearing completion soon.

Sometimes the hardest wait is the last few weeks (hopefully it's the last few weeks ) so to keep me going I thought I'd enquire about anyone else's earrings projects?

Anyone?

My mint garnets, demontioids and tiny yellow diamond melee are with Sally. I abandoned my usual dangle earrings style for this project...

Ooh so excited for you @theredspinel! I am sorry you are in a rut right now but hopefully that will all change for the better and this earring project is the beginning of that good change. Cannot wait to see it! So I gather it won't be dangles from what you wrote.

Sadly I have no earring projects in the works right now to distract you but if and when I get anything to share I promise I will.

I'm in a rut as well. My wheels are spinning but I'm not going anywhere! And, like you, I have an earring project nearing completion. A simple project with my local jeweler. My mint garnet pears from Yvonne and some tsavs I picked up in Tuscon this year.



This pic doesn't do the garnets any justice. They are icy pale and glittery and going into a plain basket style setting. Unfortunately I think I'm going to be seriously underwhelmed when I pick them up. Maybe that's why I've been procrastinating...It's been 2 weeks since the jeweler called. Maybe I can get over there today. Or maybe not. See?? I'm right there with you!!

Demantoids, mint garnets and yellow diamond melee sound luscious!! Sally does beautiful work. I'm sure they will be gorgeous. When do you think they will be done?

Sorry to hear that you’re in a funk...,nothing like a specific, controllable goal to help focus through that. Jewelry projects add a little glitter to the day in, day out routine and the emotional changes that we all go through. Hang in there! Please share when your project is complete!

Girl get over there and pick up those delicious drops!!! They are wonderful together and I'm sure once you have them in hand, turning them this way and that way watching the sparkles bounce off the garnets, you'll feel uplifted even for a few minutes

I'm sorry you're also felling stuck in life atm (loved the way you described it haha, I'm just imagining car wheels spinning up in the air ) .

Missy... I shall do one better then drop another hint, I shall show you the earrings themselves! THEY CAME

Well not came came, they are yet to be posted to me but I have pictures of them! Ummm... a little bit of a correction from my first post.. but they are somewhat dangles after all I forgot the last minute adjusting we did LOL.
