I bought this ring pre-owned months ago to see if I like ideal cuts and while I like it, old cuts have my heart. This diamond is an AGS Ideal 0.304 ct J VS2. The diamond has a AGS Certificate from 2011, the previous owner kept it in a safe for years due to him not getting the chance to propose, so I was the only person that wore it.
The setting is a knife edge solitaire that is 2mm wide and is made of 14k White Gold. The 14k mark is on the ring and the JA mark.
The ring comes in a James Allen box (that I need to find), with a heart/arrow viewer, and the AGS papers. The ring is a size 5.25.
The diamond is really white but does pick up yellow tones from the surroundings. It's really sparkly and it has a smaller table so there is a lot of fire.
