Who is calling them ideal cut, and what is the proof of that? Anyone can call anything ideal cut, but "proof" with advanced images is needed to see if they're telling the truth.

What are the prices?

Welcome @Hock! Do you have access to videos? Option 1 might have potential, but numbers alone can't judge a stone. Want to check for pavilion twist, painting and digging, etc etc.

Thank you for your replies. They are both 'AGS Ideal' rated, and price is around 11k for both.

I do not have access to a video link, but I have uploaded a photo and ASET Map for both in case that helps.

I was able to create video links for the two after all. Thanks!

Yay for all the images! The experts will chime in soon enough, I’m sure. I’m a newbie but still like Option 1 better. Since Christmas is around the corner, I hope you can be patient. Let us know if you’re on a deadline.

I like option 1 better too!

I much prefer the 1.5 to the 1.2

For 11k, you can get a "best of the best" ideal stone from WF.

Hello and welcome to PriceScope, Hock!
Are these diamonds GIA with the AGS Light Performance add-on?

Many thanks for all the comments and tips so far. I will definitely look into WF as well!

Yes, these are GIA rated diamonds and have an 'AGS Ideal' light performance grade as well.

Thank you for confirming...I suspected as much since the numbers seem to be rounded the way GIA does so, and the cut precision isn't quite as tight as classic AGS Triple Zero.

Another possibility is reaching out to Jonathan @Rhino at Distinctive Gem. He’s started a new program called Steal of the Day and does price matching. He has all the imaging equipment you could hope for and can get a stone guaranteed to have peak optical performance. I can say firsthand that his customer service is impeccable.

Thank you all! Based on your input, I looked for some other options. I believe I have found two diamonds that may be suitable, but it would be great to get some opinions on these diamonds (in different price ranges). Many thanks in advance!

The first appears to be better cut.

Many thanks for you reply! Yes, the first option is also my preference. Is there anything about the diamond, from what you can see, that would give you any “reason for concern”. Just want to make sure there is nothing I’m missing before committing. Thanks!

If it's a true AGS Triple Zero, then no concerns.
