Is anyone familiar with the Adiamor affinity cut?

I am particularly wondering because I saw the same diamond on Blue Nile (discovered this via the GIA number) and while Adiamor classifies it as their ‘affinity’ cut, blue nile does not classify it as their ‘astor’ cut.

Interested in anyone’s experience or thoughts!

As far as I know it is a grade they assign kind of like how Brilliant Earth does with their “super ideal” grade that’s an automated assignment based on parameters or sometimes the grading report - a lot of the Affinity stones (especially lab) have GCAL reports that grade light return.

Adiamor’s Affinity is just a label they use based on their interpretation of exceptional cut. Much like Blue Nile’s Astor Ideal, James Allen’s Tru Hearts, etc. Nothing more than marketing terms used by various retailers to describe their top cut stones, but there is no information on what parameters they use and there isn’t necessarily consistency between retailers. As far as proportions, this page will give you an idea of where you want to be, regardless of how the retailers have labeled the stone.

The label means nothing other than the stone might be worth considering. Blue Nile may only label stones Astor if they own the stone in-house. Clearly they don't own that one since Adiamor has it listed on their site.

Thanks!
