oh no, I don''t have one, but I saw a patent leather white Brooke bag and DH knows that''s what I want for christmas, and now I''m worried it might happen too. Is the leather patent leather or just their normal leather bag? - if normal - I thought they have a leather cleaner?
ditto, I have a half leather and half cloth white one but never had a problem w/a transfer. maybe there is a coach cleaning product you can use? I have a moisturizer from coach so maybe they make a cleaning one? sorryDate: 11/4/2009 5:22:57 PM

I''ve had a cream all-leather Coach bag since January and have been using it as my everyday purse for the last 4 months or so, and have never had any color transfer problems with it. The color is just as pristine as it was when I bought it new. Sorry about yours, I hope you find a way to fix it!
I''ve heard about this stuff! I might have to get one for my Coach pink bag. thanks for the linky!Date: 11/4/2009 11:58:11 PM

I don''t have any white leather Coach pieces, but this happened a bit with one of my pink pieces.
Personally, I wouldn''t get the Coach leather cleaner, it has silicone in it which won''t allow the leather to breath. Instead I would get someApple Leather Care stuff. The cleaner and the care stuff together are amazing.
Since some of the dye from your clothes already got onto the bag, I''m not sure if it would come out all the way now. If you were to look this up on The Purse Forum you could probably find some really in depth ways on how to hopefully get all of the dye transfer off without damaging the leather.
Let us know what works for you.
Also, the leather products that I suggested would help with making it easier too keep stains off of the leather and also protecting against water damage(getting stuck in the rain.)
thanks for the tip, have you tried it with other colored leather bag? does it lightened?Date: 11/11/2009 6:31:33 AM

Windex, it takes every bit of denim dye off white handbags. I have cream leather seats in my car, they do get a bit of dark dye staining, and Windex works so much better than the expensive purpose made leather cleaners.
Leather cleaner/conditioners are ok for cleaning light grime from leather, but IMO they aren''t very effective against dye transfer.
