Hey ladies,
Just wanted to come here and say that I had an incredible weekend!
Started Saturday morning with getting ready at my sisters house. The hairstylist came to the house, which was perfect. We didnt have to leave and that made the morning that much more chill.
Mid morning we decided that we should start steaming our dresses. So we put them in the bathroom and started a hot shower. Well, we forgot them in there and then the fire alarm went off. The kind of alarm my sister has, the fire dept has to come and shut it off. So down the street they came, sirens were blazing. It was so funny. Once they came and realized everything was ok, they asked if I wanted to get in the truck for some pics. It was GREAT and so hilarious.
I got married outside and was having a tent reception, so we were very concerned with the weather all morning. The weather network called for severe thunder showers from 11am - 8pm straight through. MY wedding coordinator called me and said that we were officially going to call rain plan and get married under the tent If for some strange reason it got nicer out, we would change plans.
Well, I was so happy when I got to the venue that all the chairs were set up outside to get married there. 45 min before we were to get married the torrential downpour stopped and it was just spitting, so they set everything up. It was absolutely perfect!
The rest of the night flew by. Our photographers were amazing, we got to peek at some of their stuff on their cameras at the time. I cannot wait to get the pics back Best part about that was we had so much fun with them! Our DJ was amazing. THe dance floor was packed the entire night, which is exactly what we wanted.
THe party was awesome!!!
