Aquamarine & Diamond Eye Candy

Over the weekend I decided to engage in some self-torture and do some window shopping. I came across this aquamarine beauty and was so busy taking pics that I forgot to ask for stats! I just know that it’s antique and priced at $2,685.

She didn’t come home with me, but if she starts appearing in my dreams then I’ll do something about it.

While the setting and cut are very nice, the aqua in my opinion is not so nice. It has a huge window, which, for me, makes the ring unattractive. Sorry, I'm odd man out.

It’s a beautiful ring as a whole and quite unique. I see the window but wonder if they are more accepted in aquamarines. At least it seems aquas get away with windows more often than any other stone.
