Are the side stones mounting in Design A is secured enough for everyday wear?

I reserved a 2ct center stone yesterday and now I am working on my ring design. I am struggling with the design and I can really use some help please! I already own a solitary so I want a 3 stones ring this time. I really like the 6 prongs look vs 4 prongs but I can't get the design to work as I like the wedding band and the engagement ring sit flush together :(

This is what I came out with and below are my questions:

1. I like the side stones in Design A but I am going to wear my ring everyday so I am VERY CONCERNED that the mounting of the side stones aren't secure enough for everyday use. I work from home and use computer mostly, but I am not a very careful person.

2. Will the two rings sit flush together? I am a bit concerned the side view diamond under the center stone may create some gap.

3. Any suggestion on the eternity band? I don't love nor hate it, but I do prefer something that is easier to clean and I also prefer it matches with the engagement ring.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

IMO there is so much pave on these rings that they will need to be babied somewhat. I personally would not wear them around
the house while I was doing things. I would only wear them when I went out.

We don't have the side view that shows us what is going on with that small center stone in the galley. It looks like it would rub
up against the wedding band but I cant imagine they would design a ring like that (well, I guess I can because I've seen it before).

You need to find some side views of the shank to see how far the gallery area is sticking out.

We also cant see how many prongs are on the side stones. I think the baskets like in Design B would be safer.

I don't think a pave eternity is suitable for an all-day-every-single-day ring. It is a ring that needs to be babied if you don't want it to eventually have issues. Of course, if you're fine having it remade in 10-15 years, then go for it. I have a three-sided pave ring because it was the look I wanted, and I went into it knowing that I'd eventually do enough damage to it that it would need to be reset because it's not the most durable design.

As for the bigger sidestones in the three-stone part, I think Design A is probably more secure than Design B, because Design B has more pave on pieces that look structurally important, and pave is weaker than solid metal.

2. Will the two rings sit flush together? I am a bit concerned the side view diamond under the center stone may create some gap.

They will, but they should not be worn together. The diamonds on the pave bands, and the diamond on the gallery, will all rub against and chip each other. You should wear a skinny plain band (often called a "spacer") in between them to prevent this. Again, if you're fine with chipped diamonds or with replacing things in the future, it's not necessary, but it will prevent damage.

3. Any suggestion on the eternity band? I don't love nor hate it, but I do prefer something that is easier to clean and I also prefer it matches with the engagement ring.

I mean, a plain or engraved band is easy to clean.

Thank you so much for your honest feedback. It was actually my design, as a none jeweler, haha... I am going to ditch this design as I think what you commented make sense and go for something else. Really love this forum for honest opinion :D

Thank you so much for your feedback, it is VERY HELPFUL. After reading your and tyty333's feedback, I am going to ditch this design completely.

What do you think about a wedding set like this? It is twisted so the chances of the diamond rubbing together may be lower? I do like the look now but I am a little bit concerned about this design may not be "timeless" and I am not sure I will love it in 10 years.

P/S: My center stone will be round instead of pear shape as I already bought the center stone.

Who is the designer of these three stone rings? That first one - long thin non-graduated curved prongs holding the sidestones, no additional support - you are right to be worried about structural sturdiness, it looks like a recipe for torque. This honestly just does not look like a stable design. The second is a little better, but still not something I would recommend for regular use - still thin non-graduated curved prongs, they’re just shorter. The inner sidestone prong placement doesn’t look cohesive to me though - I dislike this one aesthetically.

And the amount of pave on both will make them unwearable day-to-day without any other considerations.

Oh. Just read the responses. This is your CAD?

May I suggest you find a designer to work with you (for a fee)? I don’t believe your designs are viable - from a structural standpoint. That’s something that you’ll want an expert to weigh in on.
