Are these good specs?

I WISH “jewelers” would stop referring to lab grading reports as “certificates” (as if there could be such thing as a non-certified diamond; ALL diamonds are “certified” diamonds) but I guess I have to cave to the ignorance of the supposed professionals. Anyway, do the specs look good? I can’t tell if the whole photo is going to show. My apologies if it doesn’t, and thank you for reading my post.IMG_9930.jpeg

Lab Diamond ? Those specs too textbook perfect for a random Natural off the shelf inquiry and no ones cutting a real diamond to those portions w that clarity and buying an IGI report

Yes, a lab-grown diamond. But I didn’t understand your response. What do you mean by “buying an IGI report”? What does that mean? And what does “off-the-shelf inquiry” mean? And what do you mean by “portions”? Finally, what do you mean by “real” diamond? Aren’t all diamonds “real”? It’s not cubic zirconia, or moissanite or any other non-diamond stone, if that’s what you mean. Please elaborate. Thank you I truly don’t understand what you’re telling me. And I’m trying to determine if this diamond looks good.

there is a forum devoted to LAB diamonds; you are posting in the 'natural' diamond forum.

You really need to pose your questions in the lab grown forum. You will get a much greater response there! IGI is another grading entity. Off the shelf inquiry means you just pulled a random diamond or its specs looking for an opinion on it. Go to the lab forum and read over there - you will see lots of IGI grading reports.

Thank you. How do I move my question to lab forum? How do I even find the lab forum?

Go to the top of this page and click on the three horizontal bars in the upper right hand corner. Click on forum and the different sub forums are listed. It is the third forum down. You can also click on report concern on your post and ask the administrators to move your question to the Lab Grown forum.

Actually, wait a moment, please. What difference does it make of the stone is mined or lab? I was asking about the specs of the stone. Why does it matter whether the stone is from the Earth or from a lab? I’m just asking about the specs.

Because natural and lab diamonds have different forums here. You need more information and images for that diamond before anyone can tell you anything definitive. Hopefully the vendor listing that diamond will have more information on it. There are different aspects to lab diamonds pertaining to their growth and such, and that’s where the expertise comes in on that forum. If you want to buy a lab diamond, that’s the place to be!

I’m not necessarily looking for any additional info. I’m not inquiring about possible milkiness or discoloration or anything. I’m simply wondering if the dimensions as shown would make this a nice-looking diamond. Based on the first response received, I’m guessing these dimensions would render a nice-looking diamond based solely on these specs. Not inquiring about any faults due to the fact of it being a lab-grown diamond. Really, that’s all I’m interested in knowing. But I did move it to the “correct” forum.

The specs are solid AGS ideal zone... Most labs have great specs since they are from optimum sized/proportioned lower cost rough so cutters don't need cheat to maximize weight... LGD issues are generally to do with quality of rough used / manufacturing issues (blue nuance, Strain and striation, color treatment) so you should add link to video

Thank you, Freddyboston, for answering my original question!
