After spending ages and ages working on our invites we were so excited and relieved after we dropped them off into a mail box yesterday .... that was until we had one of our guest ask us a question today about where they should put their names on the reply card!!!!

AARRGHHHHH so we thought about every thing including the environment as we did postcard reply cards to save paper, included stamps, asked about food allergies and the number of guest that would be attending blah blah blah but we forgot to include names. So now if guests forget to include their names after they fill out numbers and send the card back we will not know who to follow up with and who has responded already.

Suggestions???

oh forgot to mention we are inviting 200 people.........

also i realized today that I am a stress eater ..great 2 months to go

You can either e-mail or make phone calls...let them know to just write their name on the card wherever.

Start calling people immediately. Yes, you invited 200 people, but how many physical invites did you send? I bet if you split it up between your parents, your FI, and you... you could knock it out in one evening.

Thanks We are goin to email/ call everyone starting today. I guess I''m just very frustrated because we really did try to think of everything

Hopefully we can catch everyone in time before they send the reply cards back

Ok ladies thanks for the replies Im over my frustration and about half way through my list of contacting ppl .... crisis averted

Meresal you really got me moving haha

Aw, I''m sorry this happened.

For any brides reading this--Don''t forget to handwrite little numbers on the back of each reply card! Just assign each invitee a number, write that number on the back of their reply card, and then you''ll know who the response is from even if they don''t write in their names.

We started doing this after the first bat mitzvah--you wouldn''t believe how many people forgot to put in their names even if you *do* include a line for them.
